Refresh All (elevations + labels)

Chains the three after-regrade refreshes into one command: the AutoGradeLots elevation re-pull, the feature-line label refresh, and the pad-label refresh, so a design-surface change is carried through every VDC grading annotation in a single step.

Chains the three after-regrade refreshes into one command: the AutoGradeLots elevation re-pull, the feature-line label refresh, and the pad-label refresh, so a design-surface change is carried through every VDC grading annotation in a single step.
One command runs the trio in order, then prints a consolidated refresh report. Design surface changed regrade / breakline / daylight 1 VDCGRADELOTS_REFRESH Re-pulls graded lot elevations from the surface; re-slopes side FLs, re-levels pads. 2 VDCFLLABEL, Refresh Recomputes FL slope / end-elevation labels in place; keeps moved labels. 3 VDCPADLABEL, reFresh Re-pulls live pad elevations into the pad labels. What it does, per run

  • Step 1: VDCGRADELOTS_REFRESH re-samples the current design surface at every stamped FL frontage, sides re-sloped, pads re-leveled, then rebuilds the grading surface.
  • Step 2: VDCFLLABEL Refresh, native labels are LIVE (values already current); this relocates elevation anchors on moved endpoints and updates any legacy MText labels.
  • Step 3: VDCPADLABEL reFresh, the pad elevation is LIVE; this re-stamps the lot / MIN FF override lines and follows moved pads.
  • Targeting by stamp: no dialog, no picking, each step finds its own targets by the stamps the VDC tools left.
  • Prints a consolidated report of what each step refreshed.

Scope & notes

  • Combined-bundle only: calls the other tools' Refresh modes across assemblies, present only when the full suite is loaded, not a single per-tool bundle.
  • No settings of its own: each chained step uses its own saved settings.
  • Refreshes only what the VDC tools created, never grades or labels from scratch.
  • Lots never graded / labeled with the VDC tools are left untouched.
  • When to run: immediately after the design surface changes, a regrade, breakline edit, or daylight tweak.
  • Ribbon: VDC Civil tab → Grading panel → Refresh All.

Dialog

VDCREFRESHALL, No dialog, runs on the whole drawing with no prompt.

When to use it

  • Immediately after the design surface changes, to bring grading annotations current in one command.

How to run it

  1. Make sure the lots were graded and labeled with the VDC tools.
  2. Run VDCREFRESHALL - it refreshes the whole drawing, no window step.
  3. Review the consolidated report of what was refreshed.

Options

  • Three refreshes, one command: runs the Auto-Grade Lots elevation re-pull, the Label Feature Lines refresh, and the Pad Label refresh back to back, each across the whole drawing - so the three stay in lockstep automatically.

Watch out for

  • Only refreshes what the VDC tools created - it does not grade or label from scratch.
  • It refreshes everything the VDC tools created across the whole drawing - nothing is missed for sitting outside a window.
